Douglas
S. Chandler, PhD, PE
Doug is the President and founding Principal
of Allied Engineering. His primary areas of expertise are
in geotechnical engineering and applied geosciences, including:
earthwork construction, foundations, slope stability, embankments
and bank stability, hydraulics and river mechanics. Doug
has over 25 years of professional engineering experience.
Doug has provided forensic engineering and expert witness
services for a number of cases involving earthwork construction,
landslides, foundations, and buried pipelines. He has also
guest lectured at various seminars and conferences involving
foundation design, landslides, and the design and installation
of synthetic liners.

Craig
R. Madson, PE
Craig, a Principal Engineer, Geotechnical
Engineer and Project Manager, specializes in geotechnical
exploration and analysis, as well as laboratory testing
of soils and on-site construction monitoring. Craig is also
experienced in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design,
road, subdivision design including water and wastewater
systems design. Craig has over 16 years of geotechnical
engineering experience.

Greg Finck, LS
Greg, a Principal Surveyor and Project
Surveyor, has extensive experience in all phases of land
surveying, including land use design and construction from
initial scope to final plan. Greg coordinates and manages
surveying projects involving boundary, topographic and construction
surveys utilizing both GPS and conventional instrumentation.
He is also responsible for preparation of subdivision plats
and certificate of surveys. Greg has over 27 years of land
surveying experience.

Paul
J. Sanford, PE, CFM
Paul is a Principal, Project Manager, Senior Civil
Engineer, and minor owner at Allied Engineering. He has been with the firm for
thirteen years and has experience in most aspects of the business including field work, surveying, design, modeling/analysis, project management, internal operations, and business development. His technical area of emphasis is hydrology and hydraulics, stream restoration, dams, and storm drainange mangement and design. He has also designed and managed numerous projects involving roadways, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water distribution, and site design. Paul has worked on and served as lead hydraulic engineer for flood studies on over 30 miles of rivers and streams. He has also worked on several stream restoration projects providing design support and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis. He has worked on stream restoration and water resource projects in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, Wisconsin, and Texas. Paul is a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) through
the Association of State Floodplain Managers.
