management, geotechnical exploration and design, boundary
and topographic surveys, mapping, platting, permitting,
road, water and wastewater design. Also provided are hydrology
and hydraulics for water features and ponds and construction
inspection and materials testing.
Ameya Preserve is a sustainable
new community in Montana's majestic Paradise Valley that
is developing a small portion of its 11,000 acres into

golf course development.
Allied also provided project
management, layout, design and construction certification
for a feasibility study, boundary and topographic survey,

Las
Campanas Subdivision
Belgrade, Montana
Allied Engineering provided platting, civil design, and construction certification for a 290-lot single and multi family residential subdivision in Belgrade, Montana. The subdivision connected to the Belgrade municipal water and sewer system. Allied worked closely with the developer, state, and local agencies to create a successful project.
One particularly challenging aspect of the project involved offsite run on from a two-square mile drainage area. Flow from the drainage area is conveyed under I-90 to the subdivision via several irrigation culverts and drainage culverts with no significant natural swale to route potential stormwater runoff. The property was in essence the terminus for the drainage basin as well as several flood irrigation canals. Allied designed a stormwater bypass open channel to capture flow from the culverts over a half-mile length along I-90 and route the flow to a central stormwater conveyance channel. The channel was designed through the subdivision and to a tie-in to a downstream channel associated with another subdivision. The channel was designed to handle a 100-year runoff event associated with snowmelt on frozen ground. The channel along the interstate also serves a dual purpose as a pedestrian trail.

survey, mapping, platting, streets, phone, power, natural
gas, water distribution, sewer and stormwater collection
for a 100-lot single and multi family residential subdivision
in Big Sky, Montana.
The subdivision is connected
to the Big Sky municipal water and sewer district system.
Allied worked closely with the developer, and state and local
agencies to create a successful project. In addition, Allied
performed hydrologic analyses of the watershed, hydraulic
modeling of the water system and production of digital maps.
